      <abstract xml:lang="en">
        <p>Welding is one of the most useful connection type for metal details and constructions. It is used almost in all industries, including construction. One of the shortcomings of this connection type is welding deformations and residual stresses developing. In this research the review and the analysis of the written earlier literature about the welding deformations and residual stresses and also classifications were made. Also different ways of determination and prevention were considered.</p>
