        <p>Modern road environment of Ukraine is characterized by random placement of beautification elements; therefore, there is need of improvement of the methods of their placement in view of modern conditions and requirements. The work is contains the systematization of factors that impact on the perception of the road environment by driver and passenger. The authors offer method of placement of beautification elements by the principle of spatial corridor. They have developed the model of spatial corridor of automobile road for placement of beautification elements, which have divided on the four sub-corridors in accordance with the level of importance. In the article determines parameters of the spatial corridor of the automobile road, such as width, height and length according to the optimal perception the road environment by driver and passenger. The proposed principle may be used by designers and students in the design of automobile road beautification.</p>
