The article analyzestypes and methods of determining the depreciation of buildings for the planning of the upkeep and the reproduction of urban housing development. The use of methods qualimetric examination provides to assess the state of the urban housing development area. These methods allows to take into account the influence of the complex set of factors and obtain quantitative characteristics of the reliability of the structural elements of buildings and structures, and the area in general.
