Knowledge and development of winter concreting technologies is necessary for building construction in Russia due to its climate conditions. This article contains an overview of the modern domestic methods of cold weather concreting. Such methods as thermos method, low temperature concrete admixture, electrode heating, heat tracing wires, electromagnetic and infrared heating, their features and advantages and disadvantages are mentioned. The technical and economic comparison, based on energy intensity and labor costs of each method indicators, is presented as well. The most suitable method is chosen. Given short recommendations for the course projects.
