At the present time regulation of energy consuming system is becoming one of the most important priorities of development of the Russian energy sector. Heat supply systems have a great economic and social importance, ensuring normal functioning in all regions of the country, so the reliability of their operation must have particularly high demands. Current methods of controlling heat supply in the water heating systems do not provide the amount of energy, required consumers for the whole heating season. To solve this problem is necessary to achieve a stable hydraulic control or maximum rate of the hydraulic stability of heating network for the entire heating season. The article explored ways to improve hydraulic stability and the achievement of stable hydraulic conditions during the operation the water heating systems. Revealed that to improve hydraulic stability is required increase hydraulic resistance of subscriber units. Thus the network excess pressure from consumers will be absorbed by resistances of throttling discs and control valves on subscriber inputs. Also in the article was considered dependence of the hydraulic stability to the reliability of the heating network, as a result of which, it turned out that a violation of the hydraulic stability leads to reduction of heat network reliability index. Determined directions for further research to ensure the reliability and to achieve hydraulic stability of the designed system of heating supply network a residential neighborhood.
